Detroit Police report grenade at UAW-Ford offices as fake

DETROIT (WXYZ) - Detroit Police commanders say the grenade they were called to assess at the UAW-Ford building was a fake.

Detroit Bomb Squad, Police and Fire were dispatched to the UAW-Ford National Program offices on report of a grenade Monday morning.

Reports of a grenade on the fourth floor with the pin still in place came Monday morning around 7:40 a.m.

All employees have reentered the building located at 151 W. Jefferson in Detroit.
