DETROIT (WXYZ) - Officials say no one was hurt when bricks came tumbling off an abandoned Detroit hotel Friday afternoon.
The building is located at Park and Elisabeth in the Foxtown area, behind the Fox Theater.
Officials say the driver of a Chrysler 300 has just exited his vehicle when the bricks slammed into it. Several windows were broken out on the car, which sustained some serious damage.
City officials say they have been trying to get the building owner to maintain his building since 2008. They say he has been taken to court several times on the matter.
