DETROIT (WXYZ) - Planning a family reunion in Detroit? The Detroit Metro Convention and Vistors Bureau wants to help.

The DMCVB is encouraging people to register their reunion online. The bureau is willing to help those groups plan a successful event by offering a family reunion planner and a free seminar.

The bureau will also help groups that register deal with vendors, finding services specific for each planned reunion.

The free fall family reunion planning seminar will be held on Saturday, September 15 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Cobo Center in Detroit.
