DETROIT (WXYZ) -
Fire fighters say a woman ran a red light causing a collision with a fire truck sending four people, including the driver, to the hospital.
It happened late Wednesday afternoon at the corner of Lafayette and St. Aubin on the city's east side.
According to fire fighters the woman ran the light as fire fighters were returning from a run, making a left onto Lafayette.
The two people inside the car were taken to the hospital, as were two people on the street who were reportedly hit by debris from the accident. None of the injuries are life threatening, according to fire fighters.
