(WXYZ) - How cute is this? Terrel Anderson Jr. is a 3-year-old from Detroit and a relative of Rosa Parks. The civil rights legend was honored with a statue today at the U.S. Capitol. Terrel got a photo with the president, who was at the unveiling ceremony.

Parks is known for her refusal to give up her seat on an Alabama bus to white man in 1955. It was a crucial event in the civil rights movement. The statue is 9-feet tall. It features Parks in a seated position carrying a purse.
