DETROIT (WXYZ) - Rescue crews are on the scene of a bad accident involving a school bus on Detroit's west side.
Video from Chopper 7 shows that the bus plowed through a fence at the George Crockett Academy and is sitting on the sidewalk.
A damaged red car can be scene hitting behind the bus. Police say they believe the car ran a red light at high rate of speed, hitting the bus.
The accident scene is at 14th Street and McGraw, near the I-96 and I-94 interchange.
At least three people have been injured. The driver of the car was most seriously hurt. The driver of the bus and an unknown number of passengers were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The accident remains under investigation.
