(WXYZ) - Today at the Detroit City Council meeting, Directors of Transportation Riders United (TRU) will present 25 specific solutions to aide Detroit’s failing DDOT system.
This comes after massive problems with the DDOT bus service, horrendous impacts on riders, and a number of excuses by city leaders.
A press conference will directly follow the city council meeting at 11:30 a.m. where TRU will provide copies of the new recommendations. They will also share stories of bus riders and how they are directly affected by the poor performing bus system.
