DETROIT (WXYZ) - The deadline for creditors to file objections against the city's request for Chapter 9 bankruptcy is up.
More than 100 objections were filed by midnight Monday, including one from the city's biggest employee union AFSCME Council 25.
Opponents argue the bankruptcy is an illegal attempt to slash pensions and other obligations.
An October trial date will determine if the bankruptcy can move forward.
