DETROIT, Mich. (WXYZ) - There is a hidden jewel in the City of Detroit. It's known all over the world and has been written about in dozens of books.
It's the Turkel House designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and Detroit 1-8-7 star James McDaniel says he recognized it immediately.
McDaniel says he was driving down 7 Mile and saw the home through the foliage.
Frank Lloyd Wright was an American architect who designed more than 1,000 projects from the late 1800's through the early 1900's.
The Wright House in Detroit was originally built in the 50's and remodeled in 2006 for a whopping one million dollars.
