DETROIT (WXYZ) - For the fourth straight year, Forbes Magazine has names Detroit as the "Most Dangerous City" in the United States.

Forbes analyzed statistics from the year 2011 for cities with populations of 200,000 or more. The information was taken from the FBI's Uniform Crime Reports Database.

There was good news in the report; violent crimes like murder, rape and robbery decreased by 10% in 2011.

But even with the decrease, Detroit's violent crime rate is still 5-times the national average.

Forbes point's at the city's gang violence as the reason for the city's top spot.
