Cole is expected to be arraigned at the 36 th District Court on Sunday.

Her mom says she is in pain and having nightmares.

Amyria was allegedly shot by a neighbor.

Late Friday, 20-year-old Vernon Coles was charged in connection with the case.

The little girl’s mother Latina Edwards says it all started when the shooter was calling Amyria names.

The suspect then pulled out a gun and Amyriah was shot in the arm twice and got struck with bullet fragments on her face and body.

And while she recovers, her mom is looking for a new place to live. She is too frightened to go back to their neighborhood.

Latina is 4-months pregnant.

And she and her daughter are turning to churches and strangers to pitch in to get them back on their feet.
