Detroit Police ask for public's help to find sexual assault suspect

DETROIT (WXYZ) - Detroit Police are asking for the public's help to find a man suspected of sexually assaulting a woman.

Police have released a surveillance picture of the suspect.

The assault happened around 8:30 p.m. on May 16, 2012. Police say the man forced a 43-year-old woman into a white 1990's Pontiac Grand Prix. 

He then drove her to the area of Fenkell and Lahser, where he assaulted her.

The man is in his 30s, about 5'10" and 160 pounds, with wavy black hair and a medium complexion.

He was wearing a black cap, black hooded shirt, a red tee shirt, blue painters pants and black pants at the time of the assault.

He was also armed.
