DETROIT (WXYZ) - Detroit Police Chief James Craig has announced a new executive team that will aide him in running the department.
Craig's announcement came during a Tuesday morning new conference. The information was as formally released by the department.

Sergeant Michael Woody, Public Information Office
2nd Deputy Chief James Fleming, Communications Systems, DC Fleming retired from the Detroit Police Department after 30 years of dedicated service and moved on to work for the Michigan State Police as their Communications Director.
Director Gayle Oxendine, Human Resources, prior to this assignment Director Oxendine worked as the city’s human resource director and has over 20 years of experience in her field.
Deputy Chief Vicki Yost, is an 18 year veteran assigned to the Patrol Operations Bureau. DC Yost earned a Masters Degree from Eastern Michigan University. Prior to her appointment Deputy Chief Yost was the Commanding Officer of the Southwestern District and the 8th Precinct.
Deputy Chief David Levalley, is an 18 year veteran assigned to the Criminal Investigations Bureau. Deputy Chief Levalley earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Public Safety Administration from Eastern Michigan University. Prior to his appointment Deputy Chief Levalley served as the Chief Adjunct Lieutenant and the Commanding Officer of Task Force Administration.
Deputy Chief Lashinda Houser, is a 17 year veteran assigned to the Support Services Bureau. Deputy Chief Houser earned her Masters Degree in Public Safety Administration from Eastern Michigan University. Prior to her appointment Deputy Chief Houser served as the Officer –in-Charge of the Training Center and the Central District.
Commander Charles Wilson, is an 18 year veteran assigned to Chief of Staff, formerly assigned to Office of the Chief and Tactical Operations.
Commander Johnnie Thomas, is a 19 year veteran assigned to Professional Standards, formerly assigned to the 6th Precinct and Internal Controls.
Commander Charles Fitzgerald, is a 19 year veteran assigned to Patrol West, formerly assigned to to Criminal Investigations Bureau.
Commander Daryl Brown, is a 28 year veteran assigned to Patrol East, formerly assigned to Narcotics and the Northwestern District.
Commander Ulysha Renee Hall, is a 14 year veteran assigned to Downtown Services, formerly assigned to the 2nd and 8th Precincts.
Commander Nicholas Giaquinto, is a 20 year veteran assigned to Major Crimes, formerly assigned to the 12th Precinct and Technical Support.
Commander Elvin Barren, is a 15 year veteran assigned to Organized Crime, formerly assigned to Tactical Support and Tactical Services Section.
Commander Deshaune Sims, is a 16 year veteran assigned to the Office of Civil Rights, formerly assigned to Risk Management and Planning and Accreditation.

Captain Darwin Roche, is a 19 year veteran assigned to the Chief’s neighborhood liaison police community services, formerly assigned to the 10th Precinct and Recruiting.
Captain Debbie Abdur Rasheed, a 20 year veteran assigned to Internal controls, formerly assigned to Criminal Investigations and the Northeastern District.
Captain Aric Tosqui, a 17 year veteran assigned to Crime Control Strategies, formerly assigned to the Eastern District and the 6th Precinct.
Captain Conway Petty, a 36 year veteran assigned to the Central Business District, formerly assigned to Tactical Operations (12 years) and Headquarter Surveillance.
Captain Steven Dolunt, a 28 year veteran assigned to the 1st Precinct, formerly assigned to the Northwestern and Eastern Districts.
Captain Todd Bettison, is a 19 year veteran assigned to the 2nd precinct, formerly assigned to the Communications Section and the Patrol Operations Bureau.
