(WXYZ) - Detroit Police are investigating two cases where women were found naked, assaulted and left in vacant fields in the city of Detroit.
In the first case, A 22-year-old woman was found in a vacant field on Eaton Street on July 26 around 5:50 a.m.
She had been physically assaulted and had burn marks on her body. She was in critical condition, but has been upgraded to stable condition.
On July 27, another woman, 37, was found around 7:00 a.m.
She was also unclothed in a vacant field near Elmira and Iris. She was unconscious and she was physically and possibly sexually assaulted. She remains in critical condition.
No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
