Detroit, Michigan (WXYZ) - Detroit Police are investigating a shooting that happened just outside the Greektown Casino.
A block of Monroe Avenue near St. Antoine was shut down for several hours after it happened around 3:00 a.m. on Sunday.
Witnesses who were in pedestrian walkways above the area where it happened tell 7 Action News they heard several shots. They then saw people on the street run for cover, and at least one person was on the ground injured.
Police say that victim ran for help in the Greektown Casino Hotel lobby. Police are not releasing information on the condition the victim. They are saying that at this point it is not a homicide investigation.
So far no one is in custody, but there is surveillance video of the shooting.
