DETROIT (WXYZ) - Detroit police officer Angelica Robinson, who says she had an affair with Chief Ralph Godbee, plans to take legal action against the City of Detroit.
Attorney David Robinson talked to 7 Action News Investigator Bill Proctor and says, “Something untoward legally has taken place, and we are going to address it in the upcoming days.”
Detroit Mayor Dave Bing put Godbee on a 30-day paid suspension earlier this week after 7 Action News broke the story about the alleged affair.
David Robinson says he plans to talk to city lawyers about the situation in hopes of getting a response.
“I’m confident her rights have been violated,” says Robinson. “I’m confident we are going to pursue those.”
