DETROIT (WXYZ) - The Detroit Police Department says a missing 73-year-old man has been found.

Ronald Cooper was last seen January 26 when he walked away from an adult care home.

The facility is located in the 15300 block of Ferguson. That's near the section of Fenkell that is between Greenfield and the Southfield Freeway.

Cooper is suffering from the early stages of dementia.

Officers say Cooper was located at a local hospital, where he was in stable condition. It is not known how long he was in the hospital.
