DETROIT (WXYZ) - Police say it was a violent and tragic night in the city of Detroit with several shootings, including one that resulted in the death of a middle-aged man.
The shooting happened on the 7300 block of Stahelin near Southfield and Warren where the man was killed in the basement of a home.
Neighbors say crime of this sort isn't expected in this well-kept neighborhood. They say children live in the home.
Police confirm there were at least three fatal shootings and several more non-fatal shooting across the city. No further details have been released at this time.
