DETROIT (WXYZ) - The Emergency Manager for Detroit Public Schools is making some changes.
Roy Roberts sent a letter to employees stating he will fire the interim superintendent and re-appoint Karen Ridegeway as Superintendent of Academics.
Mr. Roberts also says he will "be seeking input from the board, as long as it's constructive and moves us toward our goals of educating children and growing the district."
