DETROIT (WXYZ) - The federal government is pledging millions of dollars to help the City of Detroit with blight and residents in one Detroit neighborhood are hoping they start with the massive eyesore in their neighborhood.
The problem started with an abandoned apartment building at the corner of Grandmont and Fullerton.
When the residents moved out, scrappers moved in and the illegal dumping began.
Mounds and mounds of trash fill the parking lot and is now spilling into the roadway.
