DETROIT (WXYZ) - Detroit's interim police chief isn't wasting any time to get out and meet the people counting on him to fight crime.
Chester Logan crisscrossed the city tonight to attend community meetings on the east side and in southwest Detroit.
The mayor tapped him to serve as interim chief Monday after a sex scandal pushed former chief Ralph Godbee into retirement.
Logan is a 38-year veteran of the force. The city plans a nationwide search for a permanent chief
