DETROIT (WXYZ) - A DTE Energy worker is recovering after someone opened fire on a company truck.

According to a company spokesman, two workers were sitting inside a DTE Energy vehicle on Bauman Street in Detroit when a gunman opened fire around 3:30 p.m. Monday.

One of the workers suffered a graze wound, but it's unclear if the worker was hit by a bullet or glass from the broken windshield.

Both workers were taken to the hospital, but were released later that day.

The company spokesman didn't know why the workers' truck was targeted.
