NOVI, Mich. (WXYZ) - Fire has taken the life of an 84-year-old Novi Woman.
The Novi Fire Department went to the Enclave condominium complex Saturday afternoon just before 230pm. An 84-year-old woman was trapped on one of the upper floors. The smoke was too much for her and she died at Botsford Hospital.
The rest of the complex was evacuated but there were no other injuries.
The Enclave condominiums are located just southeast of the Twelve Oaks shopping mall.
The cause of the fire is still be investigated. The Oakland County Sheriff's department will be collaborating with fire department in learning the cause.
The Novi Fire department was aided by the Walled Lake Fire department.
