DETROIT (WXYZ) - Detroit Police, firefighters and EMS rushed to the scene of an accident at Bewick and East Vernor on Detroit's east side.

Police believe a driver blew through a stop sign. He ran away from the scene, but was found sitting on a porch down the road.

Children were among the victims hurt in the car that was hit. At least one child and two adults were taken away by ambulance.
