(WXYZ) - Monday’s WSU Big Bands performance will be rescheduled after Orchestra Hall was damaged by a gas explosion on Sunday morning.

Fire could be seen blasting out from manholes, blowing the covers into the air.

DTE and fire investigators believe an underground electrical line may have triggered the blast.

Several workers inside Orchestra Hall were evacuated, but no one was hurt.

We’re told the damage was limited to the basement of Orchestra Hall and in the underground area around the cables.

Monday’s show will be rescheduled, and a strings competition that was supposed to be held Sunday was moved to Ann Arbor.

At this time, it appears next weekend’s shows should all be on.
