(Detroit - WXYZ) - He says his little girl was stolen from him during a car jacking.
Now he faces trial for stealing 2-year-old Bianca Jones' life.
During a hearing Tuesday at Detroit’s 36 th District Court a judge ruled there is enough evidence to put D’Andre Lane on trial for murder and child abuse.
Prosecutors say the Detroit man killed his daughter after she had an accident in December, then reported she had been abducted during a car-jacking to cover up the crime.
His car was found a short time later. Bianca has never been found.
Lane’s defense attorney says there is no proof that Bianca is not alive out there somewhere.
The trial could begin as soon as June 5.
