DETROIT (WXYZ) - Federal investigators are raiding businesses in the Eastern Market area. Sources are telling 7 Action News that the raids are part of an investigation into Bridge Card fraud.
The raids began shortly after 7:00 am.
We are being told that 9 to 10 businesses are being targeted as part of the raids. Among those are Detroit Wholesale Produce and Ftoni Meat.
Among the agencies taking part in the investigation are Michigan State Police, the USDA, Homeland Security and the Detroit Police Department.
