DETROIT (WXYZ) - Food trucks from all over the city have gone to Lothrop and West Grand Boulevard in Detroit to take part in Dine and Drive in the D.

The event runs from 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and is being promoted as the largest and longest food track rally yet in the city of Detroit. It is being sponsored by the Farbman Group and the Michigan Mobile Food Vendors Association.

A dozen food trucks are participating, including Treat Dreams, Jacques' Tacos, El Guapo Fresh Mexican Grill, Taco Mama, Frank's Anatra, Concrete Cuisine, Ned's TravelBurger, The People's Pierogi Collective, Cheese Dream, Debajo del Sol and Cheese Wizard.

Music and family friendly activities are also available all day.

Admission to the event is free and all tips will be donated to local charities.
