DETROIT (WXYZ) - The 17th annual Detroit Lions Kickoff Luncheon hosted by the Detroit Economic Club will be held on Wednesday, August 28, at Ford Field. Last year's event was sold out with more than 1,000 attendees.
Lunch and team introductions begin at 12:00 noon in the Ford Field atrium followed by the program that will include a discussion panel featuring Jim Schwartz and Tom Lewand. Attendees are encouraged to arrive and be seated by 11:45 a.m. The masters of ceremonies will be the Lions' play-by-play team of Dan Miller and Jim Brandstatter.
The event is open to the public. Tickets for the luncheon are $75 for non-members, $55 for guests of DEC members and $45 for DEC members. The first 750 tickets sold are assured a Lions' player or coach as the 11th person at the table.
