Four people rushed to hospital after serious accident overnight

(WXYZ) - Four people were rushed to the hospital after a serious accident overnight on Detroit’s east side.
It happened around 12:30 Wednesday morning at the intersection of Schoenherr and Eastwood.
Police say a man and woman were travelling at a high rate of speed and smashed into a pickup truck carrying two women.
The impact knocked the car onto the front lawn of a nearby home.
Police believe alcohol may have played a role.
