DETROIT (WXYZ) - A new report released Thursday shows one in 489 Michigan households received a foreclosure notice in March.
For those facing foreclosure, or wanting help on their mortgages, a free event kicks off in Detroit Thursday.
NACA, a nonprofit housing organization, will bring its American Dream tour to Cobo Center.
The event will run Thursday through Monday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Hundreds of counselors, lenders and underwriters will be on hand to provide new mortgages to potential home buyers and free modifications to existing homeowners.
