DETROIT (WXYZ) - The fate of the old Packard Plant may be decided today.
The Wayne County Treasurer could approve a deal to let Chicago developer Bill Hults buy the plant out of foreclosure for one million dollars in back taxes.
Hults hopes to turn the 40-acre site into a commercial, housing and entertainment complex.
The property s located on East Grand Boulevard and Mount Elliott on the city's east side.
