DETROIT (WXYZ) - Michigan State Police and the Detroit Fire Department responded to the scene of a HAZMAT situation that involved a tanker fire.
The incident took place on eastbound I-94 near Mt. Elliott in Detroit.
The eastbound lanes of the freeway were closed down at Chene Road during the situation. The fire was put out.
The Marathon Oil Refinery Fire Department responded to assist with the clean up.
