Romulus, Michigan (WXYZ) - The storm that's brewing to become Hurricane Isaac is affecting travelers.

Flight cancelations started being reported in many Gulf Coast cities Monday.

7 Action News found several travelers at Detroit Metro Airport working to find new flights.  Even if they weren’t headed towards the hurricane area, often their connecting flights were in affected cities.

The Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport has canceled flights for today.
