DETROIT (WXYZ) - Emergency crews are on the scene of an accident involving a DDOT bus.
It's happening at Van Dyke and Gratiot.
Video from Chopper 7 appears to show that the bus slammed into an SUV that was hauling a trailer.
There is significant damage to the front of the bus and the side of both the SUV and the trailer.
Twenty-seven people were reportedly on the bus at the time of the accident. Fourteen of them were taken to the hospital for treatment.
However, none of the injuries are considered to be life threatening.
