Light rail coming to Detroit along Woodward; will stretch from Jefferson Avenue to 8 Mile

DETROIT, Mich. (WXYZ) - Detroit Mayor Dave Bing says there will be a major announcement regarding light rail in the next two weeks.
While appearing on WJR radio this morning, he said there will be light rail stretching from Jefferson Avenue to 8 Mile in the city of Detroit.
"It is going to happen," Bing said.
