DETROIT (WXYZ) - Detroit City Council met Tuesday to discuss the city's financial crisis one day after a contentious and angry emergency meeting with City Council Monday morning.

Monday Mayor Dave Bing was told he needed to go back to the state and get the money promised to the city.

He called the meeting in the hopes that he could get the help of City Council in urging Detroit Corporation Counsel Krystal Crittendon to drop a lawsuit she has filed challenging the Consent Agreement between the city and the state.
