DETROIT (WXYZ) - A man accused of carjacking and sexually assaulting two women has been arrested.
Detroit police say the attack happened Saturday, January 5th around 7 p.m.
The women, both 22 years old, were sitting in their car near Meyers and Puritan when a man approached the vehicle and showed them a gun, according to police.
Police say the man got inside the car and forced the women to drive to an isolated area near McNichols and Ward, where he sexually assaulted both of them.
The man then left the scene.
The women were treated at the hospital and listed in stable condition.
Police say they arrested the suspect, 19-year-old Javontae Fizer, a few hours later at a home on the 14000 block of Manor without incident.
Fizer was charged with two counts of Kidnapping, six counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct - First Degree, one count of Robbery Armed, two counts of Felony Firearm and two counts of Felonious Assault.
Fizer is being held on $1 million cash bond.
He is due back in court January 15th.
