DETROIT (WXYZ) - A Detroit man is dead after being shot multiple times while he was at work.

Aaron Adams, 38, was shot in the hip, chest, and arm Thursday morning at Lee’s Tire Market along Grand River on the city’s west side.

Witnesses told 7 Action News the victim got into an argument with the suspects the night before.

The suspects told Adams to stay out of their neighborhood.

According to witnesses, a suspect took a cab ride to the tire shop and asked to speak to Adams.

When Adams came out of the building, one gunman fired several shots.

The victim ran to safety and was taken to the hospital where he later died.

Police are searching for the suspects.
