DETROIT (WXYZ) - Metal band Metallica's Orion Music + More festival will hit Belle Isle to Detroit this weekend. The band will play the weekend festival in addition to a number of other bands.
The first Orion festival took place last June in Atlantic City.
In addition to Metallica, this year's festival will also feature performances by the Red Hot Chili Peppers and the Dropkick Murphys, as well as almost two dozen other acts.
The Red Hot Chili Peppers will close out the performances on Saturday, while Metallica will close out the festival on Sunday.
The 2013 event also includes a car show where hotrods, motorcycles, classic cars and custom rides will be exhibited.
