DETROIT (WXYZ) - Metal band Metallica announced today that they will bring their Orion Music + More festival to Detroit in 2013. The band will play the weekend festival in addition to a number of other bands.
The first Orion festival took place this past June in Atlantic City.
On the festival’s website, the band announced only that they would be in Detroit on June 8 and 9, 2013. No venue was announced.
“Stay tuned to our Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube for updates on the lineup + tickets in February,” the website says.
The 2012 event also included a car show where hotrods, motorcycles, classic cars and custom rides were exhibited.
