POLICE: Mom murdered in front of 6 y.o. child in Detroit

(WXYZ) - Police say a mother in her 30s or 40s was shot and killed right in front of her child late Tuesday night.
This happened in the 11600 block of West Outer Drive in Detroit.
We’re told the woman was sitting inside her van, in her own driveway when she was killed.
Her 6-year-old was also in the van and witnessed the whole thing.
Police are still trying to track down the suspect, but believe they know who did it.
Neighbors tell 7 Action News the suspect is the woman’s ex-boyfriend.
