DETROIT (WXYZ) - A 43-year-old man was killed when an early morning fire swept through a house on Detroit's west side.
Firefighters arrived at the home on Humboldt around 1 a.m. Sunday morning. It was fully engulfed.
The victim's name has not yet been released.
Family members told 7 Action News the home did not have working electricity and that the victim was using a generator to keep stay warm. Two cars in the driveway were damaged by smoke and debris.
