DETROIT (WXYZ) - Investigators are looking into suspicious material that was sent to a judge at the Frank Murphy Hall of Justice.

Judge Vonda Evans’ courtroom was cleared out after a suspicious letter made its way into her room. Investigators believe it was sent from a jail inmate.

The scare happened around noon on Tuesday. Other areas of the building were not evacuated.

Evans is a judge for the criminal division in the Third Judicial Circuit Court.
