DETROIT (WXYZ) - A pizza delivery man is recovering after getting caught in the crossfire on Detroit's west side.
The delivery man was hit by a round from an AK-47 while trying to deliver an order in the 80 block Seward on August 5th.
He then drove himself to Henry Ford Hospital and ran into the Emergency Room, where trauma, and ear, nose, and throat surgeons began working on him right away.
According to surgeons, the bullet left a large hole in the victim’s cheek.
He is recovering from his injuries, but is still being treated at the hospital.
