POLICE: Man shoots, kills armed robber

DETROIT (WXYZ) - Police say a man was shot and killed after he tried to rob another man on W. Grand Blvd. in Detroit on Tuesday night.
Police say one man was walking down the street when he was confronted by another man who was trying to steal his cell phone.
The suspected robber pulled out a gun. The victim also had a gun and both men started shooting.
The suspected robber was killed while the victim is O.K.
Neighbors tell 7 Action News the alleged victim called police after the shooting.
It is not yet known if any charges will be filed.
