DETROIT (WXYZ) - Police hit the jackpot after pulling over a car and seizing $2.3 million dollars in suspected drug money.
The department says it's the largest amount of cash confiscated so far this year.
Officers targeted the driver as part of a narcotics conspiracy investigation.
That person was taken into custody.
Under drug forfeiture laws, the police department gets to keep the cash once the legal process is complete.
We're told the money would be spent on programs to fight crime.
