DETROIT (WXYZ) - A fight between a stepbrother and stepsister turned deadly on Detroit's east side.

Sources tell 7 Action News that a man in his 40s got into an argument with his 29-year-old stepsister inside his home.

Shots were reportedly fired in the home. Police say the argument moved outside. At some point, the stepsister was wounded in the forehead.

According to sources, the wounded stepsister reportedly got in her car and ran into her stepbrother with her vehicle, killing him.

The woman's mother was in the car and ended up driving her to the hospital.

She is in temporary serious condition at this time.
