Red Wings look to make it an NHL record 21 straight home wins

DETROIT (WXYZ) - The Red Wings are looking to make hockey history tonight at Joe Louis Arena.

The Wings have won 20 straight games on their home ice. Currently, they share the record with the 1975-76 Flyers and 1929-30 Bruins.

Tonight, the Red Wings can make it an NHL record-breaking 21 straight wins at home when the Dallas Stars come to town.

The last time the Wings suffered a loss at the Joe was Nov. 3, 2011, when Calgary beat them 4-1.

The puck is scheduled to drop at 7:30 p.m.
