DETROIT (WXYZ) - Police say a retired man in his 60s was coming home from the drug store when two to three armed men ran up on him after he just got out of his SUV.
They reportedly shot the man and grabbed his rings and took off in an older model white Buick that was waiting for them.
The victim was rushed to Sinai Grace Hospital with a gunshot wound to the hip.
It did not appear to be life threatening.
The suspects reportedly fired 6 shots.
A search is under way for the suspects.
